Drop samples directly at our laboratory. Office is open between 7.30am and 5.00pm, Monday thru Friday.

Important Considerations When Shipping Samples

  • When using plastic bags to ship samples please double or even triple bag samples to avoid punctures of plastic bags.
  • Seal sample containers air tight to prevent and avoid moisture escape.
  • If possibleor available, use pallets for collecting and shipping samples.
  • When shipping undisturbed samples (i.e. U4 tubes) make sure the samples are sealed tight and boxed with adequate cushioning to avoid damage to sample in transit.

Shipping Samples

Steps for shipping samples to GeoLab

  1. Sample containers must have the following information displayed:
    • Sample ID
    • Depth
    • Date of sampling
    • Project number
  2. Fax the completed laboratory testing request form to us at +44 (0) 1554 775 107 or e-mail info@geolab.org.uk or finally place form with the sample(s).
  3. Use a shipping service provider to ship samples to GEO Laboratory Testing Ltd. located at:
  4. GEO Laboratory will collect free of charge. Please note, for free shipping testing orders must be equal to or greater than £15.00. Please call us before sending samples.
